Mischief with Wasim Akram at Manchester airport;

Pakistan's former fast bowler Wasim Akram on Tuesday faced a strange situation at Manchester Airport when the airport personnel mistreated him. Angry with this behavior, Akram tweeted, "The heart is broken."

New Delhi: Former Pakistan captain and great fast bowler Wasim Akram on Tuesday shared a bad experience with him through social media. The incident took place at Manchester Airport, England with Akram. 

Akram tweeted in detail the alleged mistreatment made by him by the airport management. Akram has reported that the airport management did not take proper care of their diabetes drugs. Patients have to take insulin in cold cases, but Akram is asked to remove it and put it in plastic bag.

Akram has been treating type 1 diabetes with age since 1997. He was captain of the Pakistan cricket team at the time and was playing at the peak of his career. Since then, he is taking insulin injections several times a day. 

Akram wrote on his Twitter account, 'My heart is broken today at Manchester Airport. I travel with insulin all over the world and today my heart breaks with what happened here. I am feeling very oppressed. I was quite talked absurd and publicly insulin was taken out of its cold case and kept in a plastic bag. 

Even after the illness, this left-handed fast bowler troubled the batsmen around the world. He took 414 wickets in Test cricket. The world's first bowler to take 500 wickets in ODIs is the first bowler. He took 502 wickets in 356 ODIs.
